Brothels, Bootleggers & Badmen: Part Two
Back by popular demand, John Burchill, associate professor of criminal justice and APS-political science at Kansas Wesleyan University, returns to offer part two of his popular presentation. Visit the other side of the tracks if you dare, and learn about the colorful, sometimes dangerous and often overlooked people and places of Salina.
This free presentation is offered at the Smoky Hill Museum, Thursday, September 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m. The Smoky Hill Museum offers a First Thursday Presentation every first Thursday of the month.
The Smoky Hill Museum is a nationally accredited history museum, in the heart of downtown Salina, Kansas. This FREE museum is open Tuesday-Friday 12-5, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 1-5. Also, be sure to stop by the Museum Store for a wide variety of regional and Kansas products, local artwork and gifts for all ages.
